EmConSoil, OVAM’s multi-stakeholder network on emerging soil contaminants, is excited to announce the upcoming 6th ENSOr workshop.
The workshop will center around the evolving issue of emerging contaminants in soil and groundwater. Together we’ll explore three core dimensions:
- our current understanding
- the measures being implemented
- and the challenges we anticipate in the years ahead.
We welcome contributions from scientists, problem owners, engineers, risk assessors, regulators, consultants, and other stakeholders working on this critical topic.
Abstract submission is due by 20th of July 2025. The goal is to share knowledge, foster dialogue, and explore innovative approaches to tackle existing and future environmental threats posed by emerging contaminants. For example: What progress has been made in solving the PFAS issue? Where do we stand in dealing with pesticides, microplastics, ...?
Join us at the (free) 6th ENSOr workshop on 13 and 14 October in Brussels, Belgium, as we reflect on where we stand, take stock of what is being done, and prepare for the future of environmental stewardship in the face of emerging contaminants.
